Salter MiBody is a range of connected devices to make weight and health management easier. Measurements are sent wirelessly to your mobile device and can be viewed using the free to download MiBody App. Trends can be tracked overtime and the measurements explained with healthy/recommended ranges. The results are stored on your personal mobile device only and are private unless you choose to share your achievements. Results may also be tracked using Apple HealthKit. MiBody should be used in addition with and not as a substitute to professional medical guidance. If you are concerned about any aspect of your health, please seek professional medical guidance.
If you are an existing user of MiBody and you are updating to the new App to transfer your data you must download the App and Follow the “Setup a new user” sequence. You must use the same email address.

The email address identifies the data from the old app and transfers it to the new one. If your previous data is not shown after completing the “Setup a new user” then tap on your profile picture to enter “Settings”. Select the drop down menu from the top right hand corner of the screen. Select “Import Data”.
A list of all previous users on your device by email address is shown. Select your email address and select “Import Data” To add new data to the App you will need to re-pair the devices. Select the drop down menu from the top right hand corner of the App home screen. Select “Add Device”. Press and hold the “UNIT” button on the base of the scale or “START/STOP” button on the blood pressure monitor. In the App select your user number and select “OK”. If pairing is successful will be displayed on the device.
We are aware that a small number of users are experiencing difficulty with pairing devices after the update. We are working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible. Colin Dawson, Works great once setup I have both the Bluetooth scales and the blood pressure monitor.
The devices sync with the app with no issues. In addition the sync with HealthKit works well too. For those thinking it doesn’t work try logging out of the mibody account, then log back in it will ask for permission to share with HealthKit. Without this permission the app will show as a data source but offer no data. Once I got over this hurdle everything works great. I’m enjoying the convenience of this program. Jdtayloruk, App can be easily fixed. There’s a lot of people saying the app won’t sync to Apple Health. It may well be fixable, just remove the battery if scales etc. Then re-install the battery. With the app log out, restart the phone or just as I did just create a new account and log back in. Then pair with the scales, and it should during this ask if you want to sync the data to HealthKit, when this happens choose yes.
I think this should solve the problem, a lot comes from what support said to do. Jdtayloruk, App can be easily fixed. There’s a lot of people saying the app won’t sync to Apple Health. It may well be fixable, just remove the battery if scales etc.

I don’t know if the problem was my using Bluetooth for my watch at the same time, or maybe the software was just unbelievably slow to respond. I was SO close to taking it back to the shop and saying it wouldn’t work with my phone when it suddenly did. My partner tried later (no watch) and still found it frustratingly slow.
HOWEVER WE BOTH GOT THERE IN THE END! I deducted a star because for Bluetooth pairing it talks about a symbol that doesn’t exist - I just pressed the ‘target’ one for a few seconds.and that seemed to work. History Mad, Such a struggle to set up.

Is anyone using the Salter MiBody products with Health Vault in Windows 8.1 or 10? According to the apps and devices information (and Salter, although they referred me to the HealthVault Apps and Devices list for confirmation) it should be compatible. However, I have downloaded the driver for HealthVault Connection Center, paired the scales with the PC, but cannot upload any data. It seems straightforward in operation, but every time I try to upload data via the connection centre, it times out, asking me if I have connected the USB drive. There is no USB connection of any kind on the scales.
I am trying on a Win 10 desktop PC with a CSR 4.0 dongle and a mini-pc (8.1) with built-in Bluetooth, with the same results. The USB scales were an older model, so in theory there should be a newer driver for the Bluetooth scales. Of course, the scales have their own app, but this only works on iOS things. Which I don't have.
